Many people hesitate to care for oral or minor health issues because of cost, time, or limited access. At-home tools such as mirrors or phone cameras rarely provide clear, stable, or medically useful views, which leaves users uncertain and often anxious about whether a condition requires attention. This uncertainty can lead to unnecessary delays until problems become more serious.
To address this limitation, enabling clearer and more stable visuals, users can detect issues earlier, reduce worry, and share meaningful information with healthcare providers before deciding to visit a clinic. The design direction emphasizes simplicity, affordability, and integration into daily routines. Interactions must be intuitive, with minimal learning required, while the setup should be quick enough to fit easily into everyday life. Through rapid prototyping and testing, our project will demonstrate how design and technology can improve home health monitoring, creating not just a technical tool but a socially impactful solution.
Process
Background
Many people struggle to inspect their oral health at home because common tools like mirrors or phone cameras provide unclear and unstable views. This lack of visibility often leads to uncertainty, anxiety, and delayed care. With rising interest in at-home health management, there is a growing need for simple, reliable ways for users to observe early changes before deciding whether to seek professional help.

Improved Situation
Users can have a more proficient way to observe and assess their oral health to reduce anxiety and enable early detection before visiting a doctor.
